i. french [ experiments in academia ]

(started 2020) As I progress through my uni degree, I ensure that every recorded sound I make within the semester is uploaded to a Bandcamp as a form of archiving. It predominantly covers my acoustic experimental sets both within uni walls and all around Whadjuck Noongar boodja. Occasionally I’ll upload a piece that I composed, but am absent in the performance aspect.
i. french albums follow a naming convention (last two digits of the year full-stop either one or two, depending on the semester) and are often all over the place.
I intend to keep up i. french after uni, using it as a basis for my experiments in general with live instruments.
onetwotwofour [ noize ]

{Adrian Thompson}
(started 2021) My practice of making noise acoustically naturally led me to making noise electronically, and was especially fostered by the “music technology” portion of my degree and the lovely community of experimental electronic musicians in Boorloo.
onetwotwofour (1224-looks like Izzy) is encapsulated by dark and decrepit noise and corrupted and gritty samples. There are two albums released under the onetwotwofour name: CONE HAT COWBOY (a self-released album of mangled samples of corny, cowboy-based country music) and dead at twentyone (an album exploring my relationship to my self-destructive tendencies released on Burnt Seed Records).
onetwotwofour is currently signed to locally-run record label Burnt Seed Records.
